This week, Pastor Brian will be preaching the second sermon in the series "CONTENTMENT IN THE MIDST OF CALAMITY". The first sermon's focus was on I. Contentment Comes in "Knowing God Provides". This week the focus will be on II. Contentment Comes "Through a Process of Learning". We all face trials and calamities in our lives. God allows us to go through difficult times so our faith and trust in Him will grow and flourish. In Philippians 4, we see that Paul had reached a point where He could be content and joyful even in the worst of situations because his joy and contentment were in God, not fixed to his circumstances.
