WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - NOVEMBER 16, 2025

Greetings everyone!  This Sunday, David MacKillop will be delivering the message "MAKING A DECISION".  The primary text is from John 3:1-21 describing a conversation between Jesus, our Lord and Savior, and Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a ruler of the Jews.  Nicodemus was seeking understanding of what Jesus had spoken about being born again as the key to understanding and entering the Kingdom of God.  This section of Scripture contains a verse commonly memorized and referenced by many when talking about salvation.  JOHN 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."  But not all read on to Verse 17 - "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him."  God, the Father, sent His only Son to prepare the way of salvation ... the only way ... "through Him."  Want to know more?  Join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. - in person or online via Facebook - to get a fuller understanding of what Jesus wanted Nicodemus to see -- that Jesus was the only way to be saved from death and enter into an eternal life in Heaven.  He also wanted him to understand that not all people will be drawn to the Light but would choose to continue to live in darkness.  We hope you will join us this Sunday!!  Everyone is welcome!

      Verse of the Day

Matthew 2:4-6  “When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’””
