WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2025
This Sunday, Pastor Brian will be preaching a message from John 13. The focus will come from Verses 31-35, in which Jesus gives a new commandment to "love one another". He goes on to say, "As I have loved you, so you must love one another." The key here is in the words "As I have loved you...". Jesus loved His disciples regardless of their past, their mistakes, their weaknesses, and even their betrayal. He forgave them. As believers, He forgives us no matter how many times we fall short in our walk with Him. He loves us enough to forgive, to discipline, and to draw us back into fellowship with Himself. He never leaves us ... never breaks a promise ... is always ready to hear our cries for help ... He gave His life for us as a sacrificial offering to the Father for our sins ... and is going to return for us at the appointed time and take us home to be with Him for eternity.
Jesus set the example for us ... we must strive to love others as He loves us. We have to ask ourselves ... do I forgive those who have hurt me or do I hold on to grudges against them? ... will I push past my fears and reach out to those rejected by society and share the Gospel Message? ... will I encourage those who are suffering by walking along side of them? The only way we can love like Jesus loves is through the power of the Holy Spirit. As we embrace the love of Christ, we will grow stronger in our Christian walk and in our fellowship with Him.
We invite you to join us this Sunday to hear the message "Loving Sacrificially. Our service begins at 10:30 a.m., either in person or online via Facebook. If you are a believer, you can learn more about "how Jesus loves" and how to apply these truths into your life. If you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, today is the day of salvation!! Find out how to become a redeemed child of God ... a member of His family! Everyone is welcome!
