This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be returning to the Book of Ephesians, Chapter 6 to continue the sermon series "THE CHRISTIAN'S CALL TO ARMS!". This sermon will focus on the "SHIELD OF FAITH" found in Verse 16. As believers, we are subject to come under attack at any moment from Satan and his demonic forces. Spiritual warfare is real, and Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 that our weapons for warfare are "not of the flesh but have DIVINE POWER to destroy strongholds". These trials come to strengthen our faith...can we continue to have faith in God and His will for our lives when we are faced with dark circumstances, such as the sudden loss of a job, the unexpected death of a friend or family member, or the anguish returns over past sins that plague our minds? Paul tells us that we must take up the Shield of Faith by turning to God, trusting and believing in Him in spite of our circumstances.
