WORSHIP SERVICE AND COMMUNION - AUGUST 24, 2025
This Sunday, after worship and a brief message from Pastor Brian, we will be participating in a COMMUNION service. The message comes from John 13, highlighting Verse 34: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another".
"As I have loved you"... means we are to love others in the same manner as Jesus loves us. He loved us while we were still in our sin. He loves us even though we aren't perfect ... we still make mistakes and poor decisions. He loves us so much that He gave His life to pay the price for our sins. He loves mankind even though mankind is rebellious and turning against God. He has provided a way for redemption, but so many people still reject His precious gift of salvation. Jesus extended love to those who are considered unlovable. In spite of all our faults, failures, arrogance, and lack of humanity, He still forgives, even before we have yet become aware of our need for forgiveness.
In remembrance of who Jesus is and what He did for us, we will be serving the Lord's Supper (Communion) after the message.
If you want to learn more about the unfathomable love of Jesus for you, join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m., in person or online via Facebook. Enter His courts with thanksgiving and praise! Everyone is welcome.
