MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - MAY 7, 2023

This Sunday, Associate Pastor Craig Ison will be delivering the message "From Saul the Persecuter of Christians to Paul the Apostle of Jesus Christ", based upon Romans 1:1-17.  This message picks up from last week's message that talked about how Saul was so bound up by his religion that he felt that he not only thought it was right but his duty to punish and persecute those who dared to disagree with his own views and beliefs.  But then...he met Jesus.

This week's message focuses on Paul's transformation from Saul the persecuter to Paul the Apostle.  Paul became the proclaimer of Jesus as not only the promised Messiah but also as the only way to salvation.  He became a willing "slave" to Jesus, preaching the gospel to the "Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish".  That means to everyone, everywhere!  There is no sinner that Jesus can't save!  The message is to everyone...but not all will accept this precious gift!  Join us this Sunday to hear more about Paul's story of redemption - either online on Facebook or in person - at 10:30 a.m.   Everyone is welcome!!!

      Verse of the Day

Luke 2:8-11  “And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
