MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - FEBRUARY 5, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will begin the next step in the sermon series:  "EMBRACING OUR MISSION".  The last few weeks we learned about how we can "Exalt the Lord" and "Equip the Saints", and now we are focusing on the Great Commission - "Evangelize the Lost".  We can find in Matthew 28:18-20 what Jesus said is our primary purpose as a believer, to take the gospel to the whole world, making disciples of those who turn from the their old life to follow Jesus.  This passage of Scripture comes to life the more one studies it - the deeper your understanding of all it is telling us, the more it will transform your life!!!  We invite you to come and hear this message, either online or in person!  Everyone is welcome.

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - JANUARY 22, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will present the next segment of the Sermon Series:  "EMBRACING OUR MISSION".  This message will be Part II of "Equipping the Saints", which focuses on preparing believers on how we can best fulfill God's plan for our lives and how we can do our part in fulfilling the Great Commission ... sharing His message of salvation to the world.  Every believer has a purpose in God's divine plan, and when He calls us, He provides what we need to be equipped to fulfilling our calling, whatever that might be.  Most importantly, we must be willing to do whatever He calls us to do.  We invite you to come and join us, either online or in person, to hear "the rest of the story" of "Equipping the Saints".

Everyone is welcome!!!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - JANUARY 15, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue with the sermon series "EMBRACE OUR MISSION".  The second part of our VISION STATEMENT is "Equipping the Saints", which will be the focus this week.  God's Word tells us that we are each given special gifts to use for His glory. God has saved us so that He can use us in sharing salvation to all the world.  Understanding His Word and our unique gifts helps us develop into mature Christians, all through the power of the Holy Spirit and all to the glory of God.  The more we understand about who we are in Christ, and what role we play in furthering the Gospel message, the more effective we can be in God's Kingdom work.

We invite you to join us this Sunday to hear the message about the tools that God uses to equip us to serve as ambassadors and missionaries for the Kingdom of God.  You can hear the message in person or online.  Everyone is welcome!!!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SUNDAY, JANUARY 8, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue with the sermon series "EMBRACING OUR MISSION".  The first part of the series teaches us how we are to "Exalt the Lord" in our hearts.  He must take first place in our lives, and as His children, we are called to walk uprightly before God.  His Word is specific on how we are to fulfill God's directives for our lives, and it takes the Holy Spirit living in us to enable us to live out His mission for us.  We must acknowledge His supreme authority over all things, knowing that He will not allow anything in our lives that doesn't have a divine purpose.  We were once children of darkness, but now we are "Ambassadors of His Light"!  Seeing Him as ruler of all creation and keeping Him in our hearts daily allows us to worship Him more deeply in any circumstance.  We exalt Him because He is holy!!!

We encourage you to continue hearing the messages in this sermon series.  You can join us in person or online - everyone is welcome!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - JANUARY 1, 2023

Happy New Year!!!  God is continuing to bless us to be able to continue doing His Kingdom work!!

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will usher in the New Year by starting a new sermon series:  "EMBRACING OUR MISSION".  This sermon series will remind us about WHY we do what we do for the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.  This 3-part sermon series will take a deeper look into our mission as a church, as well as an individual believer in Jesus.

You are invited to start the new year off with a refreshing reminder of the foundational truths in the Scriptures regarding how we can better fulfill the mission Christ has given us to accomplish for His glory and honor.  How can we confidently tell others about Jesus and living a Christian life unless we know what the Word of God says about what we believe and why we follow Jesus?  Make a commitment to join us this Sunday and the following three weeks, either in person or online, to hear this full sermon series.  It can change your life!!

Everyone is welcome!!!

CHRISTMAS SERVICE

This coming Sunday, we will hold our special Christmas Service.   The greatest gift mankind has ever received is Jesus.  Had He never been born, we would be lost forever in our sins.  Because Jesus was willing to leave Heaven and take on the form of humanity, live a humble life without sin, spread the Good News of salvation, and die a cruel death on the cross ... we have a way back to a right relationship with God!  Without His birth, there would be no salvation plan!

Christmas encourages us to live humble, selfless lives, recognizing our desperate need for a Savior.  Our Savior came in humility to fulfill the will of His Father.  He completed a conscious act of putting Himself in a lowly, servant role for the good of all mankind.  He is our perfect example of how we should strive to live our lives.  Praise God!!!

"Though he was in the form of God, [he] did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.  And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross."  Philippians 2:6-8

Please join us on Christmas morning, either in person or online, to celebrate Jesus, our Lord and Savior!! Everyone is welcome!!!

Morning Worship and the Children's Christmas Program - Sunday, December 18, 2022

This coming Sunday we will be greatly blessed by the children through the presentation of their Christmas Program.  Children hold a very special place in the heart of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Their hearts are tender and open to receive the message of the Gospel.

"And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein."
— Luke 18:15-17 (KJV)

As you pray this week, please ask God to continue to bless our children with His protection and His guidance in their lives.  We invite you to "come and see" the Children's Christmas Program.  Everyone is welcome!

Morning Worship and Children's Church - December 4, 2022

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will share with us a beautiful message that is especially relevant at this time of the Advent season.  Taken from John 11, the message will lay out in more detail the purpose of Jesus' birth -- for the salvation of humanity.  He is the Son of God, taking on human flesh, in order to know each of us more intimately.  He knows when we cry out to Him because of our hurts, our pain, our sickness, our grief -- there is not anything we can go through in this life that He has not already experienced ... yet without sin.  He sees our tears, and He fully understands our suffering.  His birth - the First Advent - began the beginning of God's salvation plan for humanity.  We invite you to join us to hear this message - either in person or online - with open minds and open hearts.  As believers, we are reminded to "keep our lights burning brightly" until His Second Advent when we will all go home to be with Him forever.  Everyone is welcome!!!

Morning Worship and Children's Church - Sunday, November 27, 2022

This coming Sunday we will be celebrating The Lord's Supper.  After the music worship and a brief message, we will demonstrate our thankfulness to God for providing us His Son as a sacrifice for our sins.  We partake of Communion to remember Jesus - His body and His blood - given for us on the cross in fullfillment of God's plan for our redemption.  May God fill our hearts with love and gratitude for Who He Is to us as His Children.  Thankfulness should be a daily expression, not just during the Thanksgiving season.  Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Communion.

Also, please remember in prayer those who are struggling this Thanksgiving -- poverty, grief, depression, isolation, sickness -- and most of all, be kind.  God bless you all this week!!!

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will provide Part 2 of his sermon, "What are YOU going to do as Jesus passes by?"  The Christian believer must have a life that is rooted and grounded in FAITH in our Lord Jesus Christ!  God wants us to have faith that is genuine and unwavering ... not only for salvation, but also in our everyday living!  This week's message will focus on the fact that "Faith is Rewarded" and "Faith Glorifies God".  Our faith must be exercised -- put to the test -- in order for it to grow.  We invite you to join us for this message, either online or in person, to learn more about the importance of living a life of faith!

HEBREWS 11:6 - “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - OCTOBER 23, 2022

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be delivering a message entitled "Thanksgiving Leads to Thanks-living."  Based on the Scripture in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we find that we are to be thankful in all things.  This is easy to do when everything is going right in our lives.  The challenge to be joyful and thankful in the hard times can be daunting, but through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can "choose" joy and thanksgiving!  God doesn't command us to do anything that He hasn't already enabled us to do.  Want to know more about how to live a life of thanksgiving, even during difficult circumstances?  You are invited to join us either in person or online to discover more about "thanks-living".  Services begin at 10:30 a.m. -- everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2022

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be preaching from Revelation 2:1-7 in his message entitled "When Love for Christ Begins to Diminish."  The greatest commandment found in Matthew 22:37-38 is that "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment."  As believers, our lives should reflect our fervent love for God, making Him first in our lives.  The message from God to the church at Ephesus in the Book of Revelation points out the fact that they had lost "their first love", the love they had for God at the point of salvation.  Come and hear more about God's commands to the early Christians to restore their love for God.  You can hear the message online or you can visit us in person.  God loves us enough that when we veer off the right path, He makes a way for us to return to the straight and narrow way that leads us back to fellowship with Him.  Everyone is welcome!!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SEPTEMBER 11, 2022

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue his sermon on "THE CHRISTIAN'S SPIRITUAL ARMOR - BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS".  The focus this week will be understanding the kinds of righteousness described in the Bible, and what we lose when we do not "put on" the full armor of God.  Satan wants to steal your holiness found only in God, because He is God's enemy and he seeks to destroy God's creation.  Our flesh can never be holy or righteous on our own; it is only through the redeeming divine power of Jesus Christ--His finished work on the cross and His resurrection--that we are clothed with His righteousness when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.  In John 5:5, Jesus says, "The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me."  Are you protected by the "breastplate of righteousness"?  Find out more by hearing from the Word of God in person or online this Sunday.  Everyone is welcome!
