PALM SUNDAY SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - APRIL 10, 2022

This next Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be delivering a message commemorating Palm Sunday.  His message, "WHEN MAN'S SIN MET GOD'S GRACE", is based upon John 1:17.  Palm Sunday documents Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem riding a donkey as was prophesied in Isaiah 62:11.  Matthew 21:8-9 says: "A very large crowd spread their robes on the road; others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them on the roa.  Then the crowds who went ahead of Him and those who followed kept shouting:  Hosanna to the Son of David!  He who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One!  Hosanna in the highest heaven!".

We invite you to join us in person or online to hear this powerful message concerning Palm Sunday and what it means for the Christian believer!  Everyone is welcome!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - APRIL 3, 2022

On Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will deliver the second part of sermon "Preparing for Battle", from Ephesians 6:10.  The focus in this week's sermon is "To Be Strong in the Lord".  Ephesians 6:10b states "Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength".  The ONLY WAY we can come against the attacks of Satan, the enemy of God's Kingdom, is through the strength of the Lord.  Pastor Brian will provide Biblical truths on how we can prepare ourselves for the spiritual battles going on continually all around us.  The strength we have in Christ is sufficient to win any and all spiritual battles.  Philippians 4:13 says "I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me".

We invite you to join us -- either in person or online -- to hear more about preparing ourselves to face the trials and adversity we must face in this life.  As God's children, we have His Spirit in us and His Holy Word to give us the strength we need to come against the enemy.  If you are not a believer, the free gift of salvation in Jesus Christ is available to you ... if you are ready and willing to receive it!!

Everyone is welcome!!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - MARCH 27, 2022

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be starting a new sermon series called "The Christian's Call to Arms!".  The first sermon in this series is based on Ephesians 6:10 - "Preparing for Battle".  As devoted followers of God, we must prepare ourselves to the fight spiritual battles that come against us to test our faith.  We can find our battle armour in God's Word and will grow our faith each time we stand in the wisdom of God's messages to us and apply them in our lives.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 tells us:
(3) For although we are walking in the flesh, we do not wage war in a fleshly way, (
4) since the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments (5) and every high-minded thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Jesus gave us a perfect example.  Throughout His temptation in Luke 4:1-13, Jesus maintained His integrity by holding firm against all Satan threw at Him by responding to each temptation with the revealed words of God. Because He was tempted as we are, He is able to understand what we face. He is a powerful example of how to overcome the temptations and testing that comes our way.

We invite you to start on this journey with us as we dig deeper into Ephesians 6 to discover--through God's Word--how to hold fast to our faith when trials come by knowing and standing on Word of God!   Join us in person or online to hear this powerful message!  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - MARCH 20, 2022

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will conclude his sermon series "The Marks of a Spirit-filled Life".  This series has been rich with the wisdom of God regarding how to glorify God in our relationships.  The previous sermons have focused on how to bring harmony within the home, within our marriages, and within the relationships between parents and their children.  This final sermon -- "Spirit-filled Relations in the Workplace" -- will focus on how the Christian employer and employee are to glorify God by their attitude and behavior with those they work with or come into contact with on the job.  No matter where we are, our spiritual walk should provide evidence to all those around us that we belong to God.

We invite everyone to join us this Sunday to hear this Biblical perspective on God-honoring attitudes and behaviors in the workplace.  You may attend in person or join us online - everyone is welcome!!!

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be delivering a message from Ephesians 6:4 emphasizing a Godly father's responsibility and accountability with parenting his children.  God's design for the Christian family is for the husband/father to shoulder the primary responsibility for nurturing his children in the faith.  Children are a gift from God and they are to be raised for His Honor and Glory.

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - FEBRUARY 27, 2022

This Sunday, February 27, 2022, Associate Pastor Craig Ison will present the message "What is the Gospel?" based on Scriptures found in Galatians - Chapter 1.  The Apostle Paul is writing this Epistle to the churches of Galatia that Paul and Barnabas had planted, based on the Good News - the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Within a very short time, a group of people in the churches were distorting the Gospel by claiming that faith in Jesus was not enough, but that they also needed to follow the religious requirements of the Law.  These "Judaizers"  were attempting to convince these new Gentile believers that salvation by the grace of Jesus was not enough, but that they had to follow all of the Jewish laws as well.

You are invited to hear more about this letter to the Galatians and find out how this letter also applies to churches today.  We must KNOW what the Gospel of Jesus Christ really means according to the Scriptures so that we can recognize false doctrines when we hear them.  Everyone is welcome!!!  Please join us either in person or online to find out more!

COMMUNION SERVICE - SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2022

On Sunday, we will be celebrating The Lord's Supper in the morning worship service.  This celebration is in reverence of our Savior's death on the cross to provide salvation for our sins.  He laid His own life down to make a way for us to gain eternal redemption through the shedding of His own blood.  This precious gift of salvation is available to all who will receive it.

Romans 8:34: "Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us."

John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Prepare your hearts and minds for this special service to remember what Jesus did for us, because He loves us with an everlasting love.

Please join us in person or online for the message from the Scriptures.  Everyone is welcome!

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP AND PREACHING - FEBRUARY 13, 2022

This Sunday, February 13, Pastor Brian will open up the book of Ephesians, Chapter 6, with a special message to the children and the relationship they should have with their parents.  Just as God has a design for the Christian marriage, He has a specific design for parenting children in a Christian family, especially concerning the relationship between the children and their parents.  No family is perfect, but we can strive to be obedient to God's Word as we live our individual lives within the family unit.  His Word is our Guide, and He always keeps His promises as we diligently and consistently seek His counsel.  Please join us, either online or in person, to find out more!  Everyone is welcome!!

SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - FEBRUARY 6, 2022

This Sunday, Pastor Brian returns to our study of the book of Ephesians - Chapter 5 in the sermon series "The Marks of the Spirit-Filled Life".  The focus this week will be on Verses 28-33, which describes for us in more detail how a husband should love his wife in a way that mirrors Christ's love for the Church, His Bride.  Christian marriages should demonstrate Christ's love, living out the Biblical view of marriage that God Himself ordained.  When a Christian husband and wife embrace this truth, their marriage can stand as a witness of the grace of Christ to all those around them.

We invite you to join us, in person or online, to look into the deeper meaning of a Christian marriage.  Everyone is welcome!!

SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE & CHILDREN'S CHURCH - JANUARY 23, 2022

Admist all of the chaos in our world today, God is still changing lives!  This Sunday, we will be hearing some testimonies from people whose lives have been impacted by the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.  2 Corinthians 4:7-9 reminds us:

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in depair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

When we, by faith, come to the realization fully what Jesus did for us on the cross--leaving heaven to become the God-man to suffer persecution and die a horrible death on the cross--to provide a way of forgiveness of sins, it is a very humbling realization.  Trials and challenges provide opportunities to build our faith and trust in God.  Genuine faith is faith that believes in and obeys God, acting in response to the Word of God and according to the Word of God.  We will suffer in this life, but faith in God gives us the assurance that He will keep His promises to never leave or forsake us, to hold us in the palm of His hand, and to guide us through this life and into eternity with Him.

Come, or listen online, and be encouraged!  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SUNDAY, JANUARY 16, 2022

This Sunday, January 16, Pastor Brian will present the third part in the sermon series "Checking My Spiritual Pulse".  This week the sermon will focus on the last two types of devotion the early church demonstrated - The Devotion to the Breaking of Bread and The Devotion to Prayers -- as discussed in Acts 2:41-47.  This sermon series encourages us to examine our level of devotion to our Great God -- without Him in our lives, we are nothing.  "Everything we are, everything we have, and everything we enjoy, is derived from Him."  Come to find out how you can cultivate your commitment in your walk with God by opening up to the leading of God's Spirit in your life!  Everyone is welcome!!!

Morning Worship and the Children's Christmas Program

This Sunday, we will gather to worship with praise and thanksgiving for the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  The birth of Jesus was the beginning of God's plan redeem humanity.  His birth, His life, His death, and His resurrection completed the holy sacrifice required to provide the Way back to God for those who will receive this precious gift.

After the worship, the children will present their Christmas program for the glory of God.  Please pray that everything said and done in this service will remind us of that wonderful night in Bethlehem when God's glory came to earth as a Baby in a manger, Who would change the world forever.

Please come and praise God with us on this last Sunday before Christmas!  Everyone is welcome!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - DECEMBER 12, 2021

This Sunday, Pastor Brian will present the second half of his sermon series - "Christmas:  The Manifestation of God's Glory".  Last Sunday, we were reminded that when we look upon the Lord Jesus Christ, we are witnessing God Incarnate, meaning God becoming man.  An angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds with the Good News about the birth of the Messiah.  The birth of Jesus, the Savior of the world, is a vibrant expression of God's genuine and authentic love for mankind.  Jesus was born - He lived a perfect life as the God-Man ... perfectly God and perfectly man, because He knew no sin.  God's plan of salvation began with the birth of His Son and carried out through His life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension back to the Father.  How great is our God's  love for us!

This week, we will learn about how it is possible for "God to dwell with man" and how "God revealed grace and truth to man" -- all through Jesus Christ!  Jesus is "GOD WITH US"!!!  Come and hear more about the true meaning of Christmas!!!  REJOICE WITH US!!!  Everyone is welcome!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - DECEMBER 5, 2021

The Christmas season is here!  This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will deliver the first part of a two-part series entitled "CHRISTMAS:  THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD'S GLORY".  Christmas is not just a story.  It is the time of year that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior.  Luke 2:8-14 begins this two-week series with a description of when an angel of the Lord appeared to lowly shepherds with the Good News -- "Don't be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people:  Today a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David".  God came to us through Jesus Christ to manifest His glory to us through His Son!

Please join us as we look into the Word of God to learn in greater detail how the birth of Jesus Christ, the First Advent, has impacted the life of every believer!  Everyone is welcome to come share this joy with us!!

Communion Service - November 28, 2021

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!

Thanksgiving is a time to express our love and appreciation to all those who have made an impact in our lives.  It is a time to give God thanks for everything that He is and for all that He has done

Colossians 3:16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

On Sunday, November 28, we will celebrate Communion, The Lord's Supper.  Just as the disciples made preparation for the Last Supper with Jesus, we are to make preparation by examining our hearts and minds, asking forgiveness for our mistakes, offering forgiveness to those who have wronged us, and especially thanking God for giving us Jesus to take our place on the cross and making a way for us to be saved.  As often as we partake of Communion, we are remembering His sacrifice until He returns to take us home to be with Him for all eternity.  What a day that will be!!!  Jeremiah 31:3 - "...I have loved you with an everlasting love ..."

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. - everyone is welcome!

MORNING WORSHIP - NOVEMBER 13, 2021

This Sunday, in continuing our highlight of National Adoption Month - November, Rev. Rick Carder, Director of Church Engagement/Foster Care of White's Family Services, will be with us to provide more information from the Scriptures about how Christians are called to  help children in need.  God Himself is the "father of the fatherless" (Psalm 68:5) and He "supports the fatherless and the widow" (Psalm 146:9).  God, through His Son Jesus, is the supreme example we are to follow each day.  When God saved us, He put His Light within each of us.  Matthew 5:16 tells us:  "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven".

Come and see how you can make a difference in the life of a child, whether it be through adoption, becoming foster parents, or engaging in other ministries that bring God's love to children.  Everyone is welcome!!!
