Sunday Morning Worship and Children's Church - April 16, 2023
This coming Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will return to the sermon series "The Christian's Call to Arms!" based upon the Scriptures found in Ephesians 6:10-20. This week's message will be focused on Ephesians 6:17a regarding "The Helmet of Salvation" in the Armor of God. The Helmet of Salvation refers to a mind controlled by God and is, therefore, directed by His eternal Word. It is only by having a mind that is in submission to God and His Word that we can resist the attacks of the devil and his minions, as well as persecutions by the world and the evidence of the fallen nature of the human flesh. As believers, we must remember that the devil's primary goal is to undermine our faith and confidence in God, and the devil will usse any weapons as he can to cause us to doubt God's goodness and love towards us, His children.
