Worship/Teaching and The Lord's Supper

We will be celebrating The Lord's Supper this coming Sunday, May 30, in remembrance of the Lord Jesus - His death, burial, and resurrection - He willingly gave His life as the supreme blood sacrifice to cover our sins!  In Luke's Gospel, Chapter 22, verses 19 and 20, describes the reason that we celebrate.  "And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, 'This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.'  And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, 'This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.'"  (NASB).  If you want to learn more about why we, as Christians, celebrate this remembrance of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, join us this Sunday!

Come celebrate with us!  Everyone is welcome!

      Verse of the Day

Luke 2:8-11  “And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
