This Sunday, August 11th, our Associate Pastor Craig Ison will be sharing a message about the importance of making God your first priority in your life. In order to grow in godliness in Christ, we must follow His example. That includes how we schedule our time. Jesus set the example in how He spent His time here on earth. Above all else, He placed the most important thing first ... His relationship with the Father. There are numerous accounts where He would seek seclusion so that He could pray and commune with His Father in heaven. Even in the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed to the Father that if there was any way, that the cup (His coming pain and suffering through the crucifixion) would be passed from Him...nevertheless, He prayed that the Father's will would be done.
Putting God's agenda ahead of our own takes deliberate intention and action on our part. We invite you to join us to hear from Pastor Craig how he strives to do just that using the Word of God as the foundation.
