WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - DECEMBER 7, 2025

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be talking about expressing gratitude even when faced with times of adversity and/or hardships in life -- all from a biblical perspective.  This sermon, "FUTURE GLORY ENABLES PRESENT GRATITUDE", is based upon Romans 8.  Every person, even believers, will experience suffering in this life, but how we respond to our suffering will be different.  Paul teaches us that the Holy Spirit living in us applies the work of the Lord Jesus Christ to our lives, and this empowers us to be victorious over any circumstances, even those the world sees as being insurmountable.  God's Word provides us with Scriptures for strength, encouragement, direction, love, compassion, correction, patience, and gratitude...and so much more!  As a true believer, we can turn our eyes to our eternal future in heaven with Christ, enabling us to express gratitude unto God in this life, regardless of our surroundings.

The Holy Spirit, through the light and life of God's Holy Word, makes it possible to live a life of gratefulness ... as we view God's future glory for our lives!

Want to find out more?  Join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. - in person or online via Facebook - to learn how to live a life filled with gratitude!  Everyone is Welcome!!!

SPECIAL NOTE:  SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14, CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM during the morning worship service.  SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE will be at 6 PM that same day!  Everyone is welcome!!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - NOVEMBER 30, 2025

This Sunday marks the end of fall and the beginning of the Christmas season for many around the world.  It's a time to reflect and give thanks to God for all He has blessed us with.  It is also a time to remember that during this season, there will be many around the world who have nothing other than the clothes on their backs and shoes on their feet.  People who have lost everything as a result of crime, violence, war, environental disaster, or some other catastrophe.  We need to step up as much as we can this season to help the less fortunate in not only our communities but also in our country and other countries through missions support and prayer.  The focus this coming Sunday will show us how we can follow the perfect example of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, as He ministered to the broken-hearted, the lonely, the suffering ... but His main objective was to seek and to save those who are lost.  Want to find out more about the importance of service to others by sharing the Gospel Message?  Join us this Sunday - our service begins at 10:30 a.m. in person and online via Facebook.  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND COMMUNION - NOVEMBER 23, 2025

This Sunday is Communion Sunday.  After our worship singing, Pastor Brian Pinson will present a brief message aligning with the importance of celebrating The Lord's Supper.  After a brief reflection time, the Communion will be served to those who choose to participate.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

Service begins at 10:30 a.m., both in person or online via Facebook.  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - NOVEMBER 16, 2025

Greetings everyone!  This Sunday, David MacKillop will be delivering the message "MAKING A DECISION".  The primary text is from John 3:1-21 describing a conversation between Jesus, our Lord and Savior, and Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a ruler of the Jews.  Nicodemus was seeking understanding of what Jesus had spoken about being born again as the key to understanding and entering the Kingdom of God.  This section of Scripture contains a verse commonly memorized and referenced by many when talking about salvation.  JOHN 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."  But not all read on to Verse 17 - "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him."  God, the Father, sent His only Son to prepare the way of salvation ... the only way ... "through Him."  Want to know more?  Join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. - in person or online via Facebook - to get a fuller understanding of what Jesus wanted Nicodemus to see -- that Jesus was the only way to be saved from death and enter into an eternal life in Heaven.  He also wanted him to understand that not all people will be drawn to the Light but would choose to continue to live in darkness.  We hope you will join us this Sunday!!  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - NOVEMBER 9, 2025

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be presenting Part II of a two-part sermon series entitled "I'M AT THE END OF MY ROPE!", based on the Scriptures in 2 Kings 4:1-7.  Have you ever been so overwhelmed that you didn't think you would ever be happy again?  Has your soul felt anguish and desperation?  Have you ever been faced with unprecedented challenges of meeting your physical, emotional, and financial needs...all at the same time?  Everyone comes to this point at some time in this life.  Even as Christians, we can feel the weight of the world on our shoulders so heavy that we can't see through the suffering.  We may even wonder if God really hears our cries for help!

We know in our hearts that He does hear us, that we are not alone, and that we can trust Him. He uses trials to help grow us in the strength of our faith and closer in our relationship with Him.  He wants us to seek Him first when challenges come; He will provide just what we need, even if we can't understand it at the time.  Last week, we heard that (1) GOD KNOWS OUR DESPAIR.  This week's message will show how (2) GOD PROVIDES FOR OUR DEVELOPMENT and how (3) GOD SECURES OUR DELIVERANCE, using additional references in Scripture.

Join us this Sunday to hear how God wants us to respond when we are faced with burdens too great to bear by human means.  We are to look to the only One Who desires to lift us out of such deep despair and provide our deliverance.  Find out more by joining us in person or online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2025

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will begin a new sermon series called "GOD:  WHO HE IS AND WHO HE IS NOT".  It is important for us to know not only WHAT WE BELIEVE, but also equally vital, WHY WE BELIEVER ... WHAT WE BELIEVE.  This sermon series will continue our study of THE BAPTIST FAITH AND MESSAGE, the document containing the articles of faith doctrines that we believe need to be established in the life of a Believer.  Our beliefs must be based upon the written Word of God and nothing else.  Previously, we studied Scripture about "The Bible", which is the single most important source of all our doctrinal beliefs, and "Stewardship", which tells us how important it is for the Christian to understand that everything we have in our possession is a gift of God that is to be used to bring glory to God.  The topic this week focuses on "The God of the Bible", using Isaiah 45:5-6 as the text for the sermon.  If you would like to know more about God (Who He is and Who He is not), join us this coming Sunday, either in person or online via Facebook, at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SEPTEMBER 28, 2025

This coming Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will complete the sermon series entitled "FACING OUR BATTLES WITH COURAGE", from Joshua 1:1-9., when God commissioned Joshua to lead over 2 million Jewish people into the Promised Land.  The Bible teaches us that we do not have to face these moments without courage. The focus last week was that we can increase our level of courage by remembering God's promises to us. This week, the focus will be remembering God's principles and His presence.  Have you ever thought about the fact that for us to be courageous isn't based upon anything within us ... it is founded upon God's promises, principles, and presence in our lives.  When we know and believe God's Word and apply it to our lives, we are being transformed closer to the image of Jesus Christ, our Savior.  The way we live our lives with God at the center can lead others to Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.  We must remember, we can never be an overcomer in this world without His strength.  He is the One who develops our courage through trials and gives us the resiliance required to keep fighting against the enemy, regardless of the circumstances.  Case in point -- Goliath had his size, strength, and physical abilities, and an army behind him ... but David, a young boy who loved and trusted God, knew that he had God on his side ... one stone from a young boy's sling brought down the giant because almighty God was with David.

If you want to find out more ... please join us on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. for our worship service. If you can't come in person, you can join us via Facebook to see and hear the service. We would love to have you with us! Have a blessed day!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SEPTEMBER 21, 2025

This coming Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will begin a new sermon series entitled "FACING OUR BATTLES WITH COURAGE", from Joshua 1:1-9.  The Bible teaches us that we do not have to face these moments without courage.  Courage is not only a virtue to possess in the Kingdom of God, but it is something that God develops within us through the trials and adversity we face as His people.  The focus this week is that we can increase our level of courage by remembering God's promises to us.  For example, Joshua 1:9 says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."  He will never leave us or forsake us.  Even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He will be there.  When we remind ourselves of these promises, our trust in Him increases, and we can rely on His strength and direction to get us through any circumstance ... all for His glory.  We must remember, we can never be an overcomer in this world without His strength.  If you are going through a battle of any kind -- physical, mental, emotional, spiritual -- we can lean on His understanding and His divine plan to obtain the victory!

If you want to find out more ... please join us on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. for our worship service.  If you can't come in person, you can join us via Facebook to see and hear the service.  We would love to have you with us!  Have a blessed day!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2025

This Sunday, Pastor Brian will be preaching a message from John 13.  The focus will come from Verses 31-35, in which Jesus gives a new commandment to "love one another".  He goes on to say, "As I have loved you, so you must love one another."  The key here is in the words "As I have loved you...".  Jesus loved His disciples regardless of their past, their mistakes, their weaknesses, and even their betrayal.  He forgave them.  As believers, He forgives us no matter how many times we fall short in our walk with Him.  He loves us enough to forgive, to discipline, and to draw us back into fellowship with Himself.  He never leaves us ... never breaks a promise ... is always ready to hear our cries for help ... He gave His life for us as a sacrificial offering to the Father for our sins ... and is going to return for us at the appointed time and take us home to be with Him for eternity.

Jesus set the example for us ... we must strive to love others as He loves us.  We have to ask ourselves ... do I forgive those who have hurt me or do I hold on to grudges against them?  ... will I push past my fears and reach out to those rejected by society and share the Gospel Message?  ... will I encourage those who are suffering by walking along side of them?  The only way we can love like Jesus loves is through the power of the Holy Spirit.  As we embrace the love of Christ, we will grow stronger in our Christian walk and in our fellowship with Him.

We invite you to join us this Sunday to hear the message "Loving Sacrificially.  Our service begins at 10:30 a.m., either in person or online via Facebook.  If you are a believer, you can learn more about "how Jesus loves" and how to apply these truths into your life.  If you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, today is the day of salvation!!  Find out how to become a redeemed child of God ... a member of His family!  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND COMMUNION - AUGUST 24, 2025

This Sunday, after worship and a brief message from Pastor Brian, we will be participating in a COMMUNION service.  The message comes from John 13, highlighting Verse 34:  "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:  just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another".

"As I have loved you"... means we are to love others in the same manner as Jesus loves us.  He loved us while we were still in our sin. He loves us even though we aren't perfect ... we still make mistakes and poor decisions.  He loves us so much that He gave His life to pay the price for our sins.  He loves mankind even though mankind is rebellious and turning against God.  He has provided a way for redemption, but so many people still reject His precious gift of salvation.  Jesus extended love to those who are considered unlovable. In spite of all our faults, failures, arrogance, and lack of humanity, He still forgives, even before we have yet become aware of our need for forgiveness.

In remembrance of who Jesus is and what He did for us, we will be serving the Lord's Supper (Communion) after the message.

If you want to learn more about the unfathomable love of Jesus for you, join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m., in person or online via Facebook.  Enter His courts with thanksgiving and praise!  Everyone is welcome.

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SUNDAY, JULY 27, 2025

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be continuing with Part 3 of the sermon "The Christian Bible...IS the Word of God".  This series of messages focuses on the importance of knowing what we believe and where the Scriptures are found to support that belief.  The only way we can know that what we believe is pure and truthful is to study the Holy Word that God gave us and allow the Holy Spirit to give us understanding.  We are not to add to or take away from Scripture, and we are not to follow anyone who preaches any other gospel.

What we have learned in Parts 1 and 2: "The Nature of Scripture:  The Word of God" and "The Witnesses to Scripture:  Old and New Testament Writers".  This week's sermon focuses specifically upon "The Purpose of Scripture:  Revelation Toward Application".   This week's message reminds us that God did not give us His Holy Word just to fill our heads -- He gave us His Word to change our hearts.  Knowing His Word is not enough ... we have been given His Word so that we can apply it in our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit working within us.  (John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 2:14-16)   That's what brings about the transformation!

If you want to know more about "what the Bible says" about what we believe and how we are to live our lives, please join us for this next step in our deep dive into His Word.  Service begins at 10:30 a.m., in person or online via Facebook.  2 Timothy 3:15 reminds us:  "All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction, in righteousness."  Come with open minds and hearts to receive from His precious words of life!!

Everyone is welcome!
