COMMUNION SERVICE - MAY 26, 2024

This coming Sunday, we will be celebrating "The Lord's Supper" in our Communion Service.  As we prepare our hearts and minds for partaking in this blessed remembrance of our Lord Jesus's sacrifice on the cross for our sins, open up your heart to Him about what's on your mind, your worries, your failures, your blessing, your thankfulness...He already knows these things, but He want us to acknowledge them to Him!  A person doesn't have to be perfect to celebrate this beautiful act of obedience, but we do need to have an open relationship with God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  As humans, we will never be perfect in this life, but we can be obedient Children of God by recognizing our faults and shortcomings and asking Him to forgive us...through continual prayer and thanksgiving...by putting His plan for our lives first, trusting that He will always work things out for our good.  In a world of chaos and rebellion against God, we can always live under the shelter of His wings, comforted and guided by His Word.  When God sees us, He doesn't see the failures in our flesh...He sees the righteousness of Jesus, His Son, because we have been redeemed by the blood sacrifice on the cross.  Jesus freely gave His life to cover our sins, once and for all, so that we could be transformed into a new life as His Child.  Our holy and just God extends His hand of grace and mercy each and every moment, continuing to draw us into a closer relationship with Him.  "Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised! (Psalm 48:1)

Are you a true born-again believer in Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior of your life?  Being born again isn't just giving lip service ... it is the giving of your whole life to Him, yielding yourself to His will -- that is beginning of transformational discipleship with God.

Please feel free to join us for this beautiful service.  Service starts in person and online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome.  Children will remain in the sanctuary for the service.

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - MAY 19, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Craig Ison will be delivering a thought-provoking message from the Book of Jonah.  Even though this book is one of the smallest in the Bible, in provides many life lessons that we can apply in our lives today.  This book is an account of God's Sovereignty, the Rebellious Nature of Man, God's Grace and Mercy, and Second Chances.  When God calls us to do or to not do something, and we are disobedient to His call on our lives, we will be miserable until we repent and obey His calling.  Our choice to disobey not only hurts us, but it can cause some very strong consequences that affect other people.  God is sovereign over all of His creation ... not just over human beings.  If you want to know more about Jonah and how his life compares to ours, please join us this Sunday.  The more you learn about God and what He wants for you, the better equipped you will be to obey His calling on your life.  To God be the glory!!!!  The service begins at 10:30 a.m. - both in person and online via Facebook.  Everyone is welcome!!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - MAY 12, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Craig Ison will be delivering Part 3 of the Sermon Series "Raised with Christ", which comes from Colossians - Chapter 3.  The focus this week will be Verses 14-17.  Colossians 3 documents the message that the Apostle Paul gave to the believers at the church at Colossae regarding living a Christ-like life, even under persecution.  Part 1 of this series was based on Verses 1-11 - reminding the believers to set their minds on things above and not things on the earth.  They, and we, were to put off the "old man" (sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness idolatry) and put on the "new man" in Christ.  Part 2, from Verses 12-13 emphasized what characteristics we are to "put on" as God's chosen ones -- compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against someone, we are to forgive as Christ forgave us.  Part 3, Verses 14-17, strongly emphasizes the difference between how the world describes "love" and how the Bible, God's Holy Word, defines "love".  Another point is about how we are to live our lives as disciples of Christ, filled with the Word of God, being thankful to God for all things, and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us.  We encourage you to join us for this insightful message - come with open minds and open hearts - to receive what God has for you - whether a reminder or an admonishment to draw closer to our Savior.

The service, both in person and online via Facebook, at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.  Everyone is welcome!

Morning Worship and Children's Church - May 5, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Brian will deliver a message that should open our spiritual eyes into eternity future.  His message, "The Reality of Heaven and Hell" is taken from Luke 16:19-31 - the story of the beggar named Lazarus and the rich man.  God, in His great love and mercy, gives each of us a choice...we can choose to believe in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins and accept Him as our Savior, choosing to accept His plan of redemption and follow Him, and in the end, be welcomed into Heaven.  God is also just and holy, and sin will never enter Heaven.  So, we can choose to live our lives selfishly, not recognizing that we need a Savior, and travel blindly down a road to destruction, and end in Hell.  Our souls live forever...and God's Word continues to remind us...choose this day who you will serve.  Want to find out more about the reality that awaits us after we leave this earthly place?  Please join us this Sunday, May 5, in person or online via Facebook, at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - APRIL 28, 2024

This Sunday's message will conclude the sermon series "Living in Light of the Lord's Imminent Return".  Pastor Brian will present Part III, which will focus on the fact that every Christian is to be passionate in his/her service to God and to others, fulfilling the purpose God has placed on his/her life.  This week's message comes from 1 Peter 4:10-11, reminding us that all spiritual gifts come from God, and that every Christian has been given a gift.  It could be singing, playing music, preaching, evangelizing, hospitality, working with children, teaching, administration, and the list goes on.  We are responsible for using our gifts for God's service.  The Apostle Peter reminded the believers that there is something greater than this perishing world, that this world is not their permanent home, and that in light of the Lord's imminent return, we are to put emphasis more on Godly priorities rather than earthly, human priorities.  Want to know more?  We invite you to join us this Sunday, either in person or online via Facebook, at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome.

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - APRIL 21, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Brian will continue with the sermon series "Living in Light of the Lord's Imminent Return".  Last week's focus was on the necessity of loving and encouraging each other, using Jesus as our example.  This week, he will be diving deeper on what "agape" love is, the kind of love God has for us, even while we were yet sinners.  Agape love is sacrificial, putting others ahead of yourself.  It means forgiving others who have hurt you, even those who are fellow Christians.  How can we, as imperfect humans, exhibit this kind of love?  It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit working in us and through us.  Find out more by joining us, either in person or online via Facebook, at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.  God wants us to demonstrate His "agape" love to others as He has shown that kind of love to us.  Everyone is welcome.

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - APRIL 14, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue with the sermon series "LIVING IN LIGHT OF THE LORD'S IMMINENT RETURN", based upon the Scriptures found in 1 Peter 4:7-11.  Last week's message focused upon our prayer life, and this week's message will focus on love...our love for God, for fellow Christians, and for a lost and dying world.  Our strong prayer life, coupled with a growing knowledge of the Word of God, gives us the strength and ability through the power of the Holy Spirit to draw closer to God and to love others as He has loved us.  Romans 5:8-11 demonstrates God's love for us.  "...but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation."

We are to love as God loves...letting God's light shine through us as we continue to spread the Message of the Gospel to those living in darkness.  As the day of the Lord's return draws closer, the darkness will continue to spread in this world, but we are reminded in John 1:4-5, speaking of Jesus, "In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."  Jesus is our perfect example...to find out more about how we are to live our lives as each day draws us closer to His glorious return, join us at 10:30 a.m. in person or online via Facebook.  Everyone is welcome!!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - APRIL 7, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will begin the sermon series "LIVING IN LIGHT OF THE LORD'S IMMINENT RETURN".  The message will be based upon 1 Peter 4:7-11.  The Apostle Peter was addressing Christians who were suffering persecution, seizing the opportunity to use their persecution as a means to awaken them to the greater truths of the Christian faith.  He helped them realize that there is something greater than this world, that this world is not our permanent home, and that their future in Christ has been established forever.  Because of these truths, we should prioritize our work of reaching the lost.  Christ's return could happen at any moment ... we need to be about our Father's business.  If you want to learn more about being prepared to live as if Christ could come at any moment, please join us at 10:30 a.m. in person or online via Facebook.  You will surely be blessed!!! Everyone is welcome!!

PALM SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - MARCH 24, 2024

The Palm Sunday service draws our attention back to our Savior's entry into Jerusalem, where He will be crucified.  Many of those who were celebrating His arrival would later turn against Him and call for His crucifixion.  The events of that week -- His death, burial, and resurrection -- were necessary for God to receive the "perfect, sinless blood sacrifice" to redeem us and to restore us back to God.  Please join us with a humbled heart of thanksgiving to hear more about the reason Jesus willingly gave His life to save sinful people like us.  We are His creation, and He loves us ... but, unless we receive Him as Savior and King and choose His plan for our lives, we cannot enter the Kingdom of God.  God's grace alone is what saves us.  The service begins - in person and online via Facebook - at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - MARCH 17, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will deliver a special message from Isaiah 6.  The sermon title is "WHY WE PRAY, WHY WE GIVE, WHY WE GO".  The focus this week will be on recognizing God's supremacy, His holiness, His mercy, and His salvation plan for us.  Until we can grasp, even minutely, the majesty of God, it will be challenging to surrender our will for His plan.  We MUST always remember the seriousness of sin in the sight of God.  In His love and mercy, He prepared a way for our sin to be forgiven by sending His Son to die a cruel death, shedding His blood, to cover our sin.  Unforgiven sin, including disobedience to His Word, results in God's judgment.  Salvation is a gift from God to us - an opportunity to be reconciled back to our Creator, the One Holy Supreme God of all things!!  To find out more, please join us, either in person or online via Facebook, at 10:30 a.m. this coming Sunday.   Come with open minds and open hearts to receive the Word of God!!  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - MARCH 10, 2024

This Sunday, Associate Pastor Craig Ison will be delivering a message from Colossians 3:12-13, entitled "Raised with Christ", Part 2.  In a previous sermon from Colossians 3:1-11, Part 1 of the series, Paul was encouraging the Colossian believers to focus their pursuits on things above, not things on earth.  He tells them to put away the old things:  anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from their mouths.  In this sermon, the focus is all about what they were to "put on".  As God's chosen ones, they were to put on compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.  Our perfect example of how we are to live our lives is found in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.   We are all sinners in need of redemption, and Jesus paid the price for our redemption on the cross.  We "deserve" nothing, but He made a way that we can have "everything we need" through Him.  Salvation only comes through grace alone -- we can do nothing to earn it.  As believers, we are called by God to spread the Good News of Salvation to a lost and dying world, as His representatives.  J. C. Ryle gives us the following message:  "Let your Christianity be so unmistakable, your eye so single, your heart so whole, your walk so straightforward, that all who see you may have no doubt whose you are, and whom you serve."

Are you living a life that honors God?  Do you want to have a closer walk with God?  To learn more about how to live more like Jesus Christ, we invite you to join us this Sunday to hear this message.  You can join our service in person or online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m.   Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND COMMUNION - MARCH 3, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Brian will conclude the sermon series entitled "Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God."  This series is drawn from Romans 15:1-7 (ESV) and focuses on building unity in the Church in a world full of chaos and division.  As God's people, we are called "to pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding", using God's Word as our compass.  This week, the message will focus on the importance of all Scripture, the Old Testament and the New Testament, to enable us to lay aside our personal differences so that there is unity in Christ Jesus.  We are to focus our attention to building unity and fellowship in the church rather than causing division in the church by arguing over "disputable matters".  Paul's Charge to the Church:  "Agree to be in Unity, that God may be Glorified."  Paul's words were not only a charge ... it was his prayer.  Not only do we need the Scriptures to guide us in overcoming barriers, but we also need prayer in our lives and power from God.  To find out more about how you can pursue peace and unity, not only in the Church but also in your everyday life, join us in person or online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.  Everyone is welcome to God's house!

**The serving of The Lord's Supper will be at the end of the sermon.

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - FEBRUARY 18, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Brian continues with Part II of the sermon series entitled "Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God."  This series is drawn from Romans 15:1-7 (ESV) and focuses on building unity in the Church in a world full of chaos and division.  As God's people, we are called "to pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding", using God's Word as our compass.  This week, Paul provides us with additional examples of how we are to focus our attention to building unity and fellowship in the church rather than causing division in the church by arguing over "disputable matters" to the detriment of the church itself.  Jesus is the greatest example of setting aside His desires and plans for the benefit of others.  Luke 22:39-42 tells us that He asked His Father "...if you are willing, remove this cup from me.  Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."  The very reason you and I should be willing to forfeit our liberties at times, and to bear another's weaknesses, and strive to please our neighbor for their spiritual edification, IS BECAUSE the Lord Jesus Christ set aside His liberties in obedience to His Father's plan to fulfill the needs of humanity...He willingly took our sins to the cross so that we could have redemption and a restored relationship with God.  To find out more about how you can pursue peace and unity, not only in the Church but also in your everyday life, join us in person or online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.  Everyone is welcome to God's house!!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - FEBRUARY 11, 2024

This Sunday, we will be hearing from our Associate Pastor Craig Ison as he delivers the sermon "Raised with Christ".  The text for this sermon - Colossians 3:1-11 - is a letter to the church at Colossae.  The Holy Spirit inspired the Apostle Paul, who was in prison at the time, to write this letter to the church to direct them back to Jesus, their Savior.  The environment in Colossae was very much like our world today ... rulers who have turned away from God, people who choose to persecute those who follow Christ, a culture filled with pagan gods, and wolves who desire to cause division among the people (even in the church).  Paul tells the people to set their minds on things above and not on things of the earth.  A true believer is one who pursues holiness, and as they grow closer to Christ, the desires of their hearts change.  They are a new creation in Christ!

If you would like to know more, please join us this Sunday, either in person or online via Facebook, at 10:30 a.m., to learn  what it means to be "Raised with Christ".  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - FEBRUARY 4, 2024

This Sunday, Pastor Brian begins a new sermon series entitled "Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God."  This series is drawn from Romans 15:1-7 (ESV) and focuses on building unity in the Church in a world full of chaos and division.  As God's people, we are called "to pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding", using God's Word as our compass.  Paul provides us examples how we are to look into our own lives in order to help us not only to face barriers to unity but to actually overcome our differences.  To find out more about how you can pursue peace and unity, not only in the Church but also in your everyday life, join us in person or online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.  Everyone is welcome to God's house!!!
