WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - JANUARY 28, 2024

Next Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue with Part II of the Sermon Series "Why could we not cast it out?"  The Scriptures come from Mark 9:14-29, describing when a caring father who had brought his demon-possessed son to Jesus to be healed, but when he found that Jesus wasn't there, he asked the remaining disciples if they could "cast it out, and they were not able."  Jesus had given them the authority in Mark 6, but they lacked the faith to access the power to exorcise the demon in this man's son.  After hearing what had taken place, Jesus became burdened and filled with anguish over the situation.  His disciples had the authority given to them and had witnessed many miracles demonstrating Christ's power, yet they lacked the faith to cast out the demon.

As believers, we have been given the power of the Holy Spirit within us to enable us to complete the work God has given us to do.  But, as many do, we lack sufficient faith to make a difference in the lives of people who come to us in a desperate hope that we can help them.  The success of the Church is not found in ornate buildings, large bank accounts, or thousands in the congregation.  The success of the Church is when she operates in the power of Almighty God, seeking for God's will and then following God's purpose for us ... spreading the Gospel message, helping those who are suffering, loving others as Jesus loves.  To hear more, please join us in person or online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m.   We welcome you to God's house!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - JANUARY 14, 2024

This coming Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue with the message "The Cost of Following Jesus Christ", Part 2 of 2 sermons.  Last week, the focus was on "The Cost", the first aspect of our being a follower of Jesus Christ.  This week, the focus will be on the last two aspects, "The Consideration" and "The Conclusion".  We must continually remind ourselves that we are one year closer to the Rapture of the Church and to the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  It is a time for focusing on the level of commitment we have to our walk with Jesus, as we look ahead with a renewed focus on things above.

Being a genuine Christian is not an easy road in the sense that we will suffer pain and persecution in this world, but, as believers, we have the blessed assurance that God will be with us through every circumstance here on earth and has prepared a place for us when He takes us home!!   Matthew 16:24-28 gives us some instructions that will help us understand that the Christian walk requires that we deny ourselves and take up the Cross of Jesus if we are to follow Him.  This means that we follow the Savior with the example He set for us - a life of serving others before ourselves...making sacrifices to accomplish the will of God, focusing on doing everything all for the glory of God.

Do you desire a stronger, more focused relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?  Are you ready if the Lord should call you home today?  As a believer, would you be ready for the rapture should it happen today?  We invite you to join us this coming Sunday to hear Part 2 of this sermon series, "The Cost of Following Jesus Christ".  You can hear the message in person or online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome!

MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - JANUARY 7, 2024

This coming Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will deliver the message "The Cost of Following Jesus Christ", Part 1 of 2 sermons.  As this new year begins, we must remind ourselves that we are one year closer to the Rapture of the Church and to the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  It is a time for introspection of our commitment to our walk with Jesus...a time to look ahead with a renewed focus on things above.

Morning Worship Service and Children's Church - December 31, 2023

This Sunday, we will close out 2023 and prepare our hearts and minds for God's guidance in 2024.  Pastor Brian Pinson will be preaching the message "Man's Chief End:  To Give God Praise" based on Psalm 150.  We were created to give God praise, regardless of our circumstances.  This Psalm details that the Lord is to be praised, everywhere, at all times, because He is worthy, "because He has revealed to us His mighty deeds".  The psalmist answers our question:  "How do we give praise?"  In everything we are to give praise and thanksgiving to God...praising God by using the gifts He has given us, in music, in singing, in worship.  Verse 6 sums it up:  "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!  Praise the Lord!"

Want to start off 2024 with excitement in your love for God!  Join us on Sunday, either in person or online via Facebook, as Pastor Brian delves more deeply into the message in Psalm 150.  Everyone is welcome!

CHRISTMAS EVE - MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE - DECEMBER 24, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will share the message "From the Manger to the Cross:  the Real Christmas Story," coming from Philippians 2:1-8.  On Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Savior of the world.  But there is so much more richness in the meaning of Christmas.  The birth of the Christ Child was the beginning of God's divine plan for man's salvation for those who would believe.  Without the birth of Jesus, there would be no message of hope, no death on the cross to cleanse us from sin, no resurrection to bring us back into a personal relationship with God, and no promise of life eternal in heaven with Jesus.  As believers, we know the eternal significance of Jesus' birth.  He is the God-man who would give His life as a perfect blood offering for our sins...to be forgiven once and for all...through the finished work of the perfect Lamb of God.

Jesus lived a perfect life as an example for us to strive to become...through God's help.  Jesus led a life of humility in service to others.  Everything He said and did was to fulfill the will of His Father ... to show humanity the way to truth and righteousness through self-sacrifice and obedience.  Let everyone who has an ear, let him hear...the time is growing short...this is the time to examine your life and your walk with Jesus.  Do you know Him?  Are you ready for what's coming?

Please join us this coming Sunday to hear this special Christmas Eve message of love and encouragement.  The service begins at 10:30 a.m. - live in person or via Facebook online.  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - DECEMBER 10, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue with the Sermon Series "The End Times", with Part IV of the Sermon "The Horrific Reality to Come".  This specific sermon will discuss the culmination of the Tribulation Period from Matthew 24:23-31, with a special emphasis on the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.  During His First Advent, Jesus took on flesh when He was born through natural birth and was placed humbly in a manger.  As He grew, He walked among the people, sharing the message of salvation.  He died a cruel death on a cross, was placed in a tomb, was resurrected three days later, and was transfigured back to heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father.  In His Second Advent, He will return supernaturally, and His coming will be a powerful display of the Omnipotence of Almighty God.  All on the earth will witness His return, and no one will have a place to hide from His judgment.

Jesus came to us as the humble Lamb of God, but He will return to us as a Lion of the Tribe of Judah.  His armies will come with Him to issue judgment and establish His Kingdom for 1000 years of the Millennial Reign.

The various prophecies in the Bible -- Daniel, Exekiel, Matthew, Revelation, Isaiah, etc. -- warn us about what is going to happen.  No one knows the exact timing of these events and when the end will come, but we are given some signs of the times.  If we look at events going on in the world and even in our own country, we see reminders that every day is closer to the Lord's Return.  Are you ready???  Are you preparing yourself and your family for what is to come?  If you are interested in learning more about the End Times as recorded in the Word of God, please join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m., either in person or online via Facebook.

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - DECEMBER 3, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue with the Sermon Series "The End Times", with Part III of the Sermon "The Horrific Reality to Come".  This specific sermon will continue to discuss the Tribulation Period from Matthew 24:5-21, with a special emphasis on the second half of the Tribulation Period, called The Great Tribulation.  During this period, the antichrist will turned against Israel and break the peace agreement that was established at the beginning of the tribulation period.  During The Great Tribulation, events will rapidly escalate in frequency and intensity, more horrific than anything that has ever happened before.  The antichrist will have world domination and lead many people astray with his delusions and supernatural powers, and those who refuse to worship him will be killed.  No one will be able to buy or sell anything unless they are a follower of the antichrist.

The various prophecies in the Bible -- Daniel, Exekiel, Matthew, Revelation, Isaiah, etc. -- warn us about what is going to happen.  No one knows the timing of these events and when the end will come, but we are given some signs of the times.  As believers, the greatest promise we have is that the end of the Tribulation Period will be evident with the Second Advent of Jesus, when He returns to set up His kingdom.  Are you ready???  If you are interested in learning more about the End Times as recorded in the Word of God, please join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m., either in person or online via Facebook.

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - NOVEMBER 19, 2023

Pastor Brian Pinson continues with the Sermon Series "THE FINAL DAYS" with the third two-part message "The Horrific Reality to Come". This Sunday will be Part II of this sermon - we will continue to learn about the terrifying events that will take place in the world when Christ removes His Church and God pours out His wrath upon this unbelieving world. The time of the Tribulation will be so horrific for humanity that it is said to be "terrifying circumstances greater than the world has ever seen or ever will see". NOW is the time for spread the Gospel message to family and friends who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus!!! Only those who know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord will partake in the Rapture, and those left behind will face extreme persecution at a point that cannot even be perceived by humanity.

If you or someone you know does not yet have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, now is the time seek Him. The plan of salvation is very simple, but must be made with an earnest, repentant heart. We are saved through GRACE alone. Salvation and remission of sins comes only through the shed blood of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection, conquering death. We all deserve death, but He loves us enough to save us to an eternal life with Him in heaven. As believers, we walk by faith in Him, and we have our hearts and minds set on heaven!

The more a Christian learns about what God tells us in His Word about the end times, the better we can be prepared for His Coming and the more motivated we will be to sharing the message of salvation to those around us. We are not told the exact days and times of these coming events, but we are certainly given signs of the times. If you want to know more, please join us in person or online via Facebook on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. You are welcome to come to God's House!!!

Joshua 24:14-15 Choose Whom You Will Serve
14 “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - NOVEMBER 5, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will be presenting the second part of the message "Christ Is Coming:  So Be Encouraged". This week's focus will be about the "Rapture" of the Church and how despite the rising level of chaos and calamity, all who are in Christ can look joyfully to Christ to return for his Bride.  We will learn about the great reunion we will have with our loved ones who died in Christ...a celebration without end!  The most important thing...we will "forever be with the Lord".

For the next two Sundays we will learn about the terrifying events that will take place in the world when Christ removes His Church and God pours out His wrath upon this unbelieving world.

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - OCTOBER 29, 2023

This Sunday will be the second message in the Sermon Series "THE FINAL DAYS".  This message, "Christ Is Coming:  So Be Encouraged", will be a 2-part message to be delivered over the next two Sundays.  This message will focus on the Rapture of the Church and events leading up to that divine event.  Although we are living in perilous times, which are only going to get more dangerous as the time draws near to the time when Jesus comes to take His children home, we can be encouraged because we KNOW it is all part of God's timeline of events.  As each day passes bringing us closer to being with our Lord forever, we must press forward in spreading the message of the Gospel for those who are not saved!  The time of the Tribulation will be so horrific for humanity that it is said to be "terrifying circumstances greater than the world has ever seen or ever will see".

PASTOR APPRECIATION SUNDAY - WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - OCTOBER 8, 2023

This coming Sunday is Pastor Appreciation Sunday!  We are so thankful that we have Pastor Brian Pinson and Associate Pastor Craig Ison, men of God who are diligent to preach God's Word of Truth and who are faithful, loving shepherds to our congregation!!  We are also blessed to have the wives of these pastors, Wanda Pinson and Felicia Ison, who are strong, devoted women of God who demonstrate servant hearts to God, their husbands and family, and to our congregation.  We pray for God's continued blessings on their lives as they pursue God's plan and purpose for each of their lives.  We love them all and highly respect their obedience to God's call to lead us and guide us into God's Truths!

This Sunday, Associate Pastor Craig Ison will deliver the message that God's has laid upon his heart; the sermon title is "Seasons".  We see the changing of the earthly seasons, each one bringing some challenges and some blessings.  The same is true in our natural lives and in our spiritual lives.  We all experience difficult times, but as we choose to follow closer to Jesus and His plan, we can be assured that we will make it through to the blessing waiting on the other side of the obstacle.  He will never leave us, no matter the circumstances.  If you want to learn more about the faithfulness of our Savior during the seasons of our lives, please join us, in person or online via Facebook, to hear this beautiful, encouraging message.  The service begins at 10:30 a.m.; Children's Church will also be available.  Everyone is welcome!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will continue his sermon series, "The Vision of the Glorified Son of Man", with Part II.  Last week, we learned that the Apostle Paul, while on the Isle of Patmos, was given a very special message by God to write down in a book and deliver to the seven churches - Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.  Paul was also given a vision of things "that are and those that are to take place after this".  His writings are recorded in the book of "Revelation".  The focus last week was on "The Voice He Heard" and part of "The Vision He Observed".  This week, we will hear a more in-depth description of the "Vision" and what it means to us today.  The message will end with a description of Paul's amazing reverence and awe when he beheld the "glorified and exalted Son of God"  ...  Christ's relationship with His Church is based upon eternal love, so powerful that we cannot even begin to understand it with our human minds.  The Book of Revelation is still for us today because it all points to the future events surrounding the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  If you desire to know more...please join us at 10:30 a.m., either in person or online via Facebook, to hear the conclusion of this beautiful message.  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SEPTEMBER 24, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will begin a 2-Part sermon series entitled "The Vision of the Glorified Son of God".  This teaching will be based upon Revelation 1:9-18, and the words will encourage us with "the vision of the glorified Son of God" in all of His magnificance, in all of His majesty, and in all of His spendor!  The Apostle Paul, while on the Isle of Patmos, was given a Revelation that gave words of encouragement, words of warning, as well as a summary of future events leading up through the End of Days, including the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and the final judgment of all mankind who chose not to believe in the Messiah.  Paul documented all that he saw and heard in the Book of Revelation, which remains a powerful message for us today.  Today's message will focus on the beginning of the revelation and the letters to the seven churches of Asia Minor.  The contents of these letters apply to the Church in current times.  If you want to know more about the vision that Paul saw, please join us this Sunday, in person or online via Facebook, at 10:30 a.m.   Everyone is welcome!!!

MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SEPTEMBER 17, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will bring to a close the expositional sermon series "THE CHRISTIAN'S PRAYER LIFE" with Part V, from the text in Ephesians 6:18-20.  The focus this week will be that "Prayer must be all-encompassing".  There are three elemental truths about this prayer characteristic.  Last week, we learned that we are called to ask and seek God for specific answers, and that when we pray, we are to pray with alertness and with perseverance.  This week, we will hear about the third elemental truth:  We are called to pray for one another.  Ephesians 6:18-19 tells us in the Apostle Paul's words that we are to pray, "...making supplication for all the saints, and also for me..."  As believers, we are part of the Body of Christ - His Church - and as such we are to pray for one another.  We encourage you - believers and non-believers - to join us this Sunday, in person or online via Facebook, to discover more about the power of prayer in a Christian's life.  Effective prayer enables us to strengthen our relationship with our Lord and to stand strong against the darkness of this world.  Come join us!  Everyone is welcome!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SEPTEMBER 10, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will return to the book of Ephesians as we move forward in the sermon series "The Christian's Prayer Life".  This week's focus on prayer is "Characteristic IV - Prayer is to be All-encompassing."  Each person's prayers may look and sound different, but the content of the prayer is to be specific and honoring to God.  We can be assured that God hears our prayers and He will answer them when we pray with His will in mind.  He may not answer them in a way that we want, but He will answer in a way that is best for us and according to His plan for us.  If you want to find out more about improving your prayer life, join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. either in person or online via Facebook.  Everyone is welcome!!

WORSHIP SERVICE AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SEPTEMBER 3, 2023

This Sunday, our Associate Pastor, Craig Ison, will be sharing a message from Romans - Chapter 1 - Verses 16-32.  Being a Christian has never been an easy life.  In fact, Jesus warned us that in this world we will have trouble and will be persecuted for righteousness sake.  As we look back in history, we can always learn something new that we can apply to our lives.  Early Christians suffered, but through that suffering, their faith grew.  The closer they walked with God, they learned that their only hope was in God.  Today's culture may look a little different, but we face very similar challenges.  Idol worship, false doctrines, government and social persecution, injustice.  The process is still the same...we must first accept God's gift of salvation through the price Jesus paid for our redemption.  Then every day after that, we must believe that the closer we walk with God, the more our faith grows, and the better equipped we are to stand against the enemy.  To get closer to God, we must submit our will to His will...study His Word...pray for guidance and understanding...give of yourself to help others.  If you want to hear more about the correlation between life in the early church and how we live today in our chaotic world, join us in person or online via Facebook at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome!
